About
the O-Jak Bridge Festival
Our Festival Mission
O‑Jak Bridge Art & Dance Festival is a signature program of Margolis Arts Foundation, a Seattle-based 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization.
Inspired by the Korean legend of Ojakgyo—a bridge formed by birds to reunite two separated lovers—the festival brings together artists, cultures, and communities through dance, visual art, music, and storytelling.
Founded in 2022, O‑Jak creates opportunities for local and international artists to share their distinct cultural traditions and creative voices while contributing to a collective artistic experience. Through performances, exhibitions, educational programs, and community partnerships, the festival uses art as a bridge across cultures, generations, and disciplines.
